The idea behind Canadian Woodcraft was born simply out of need.
As a young couple with a new home and a growing family, we searched for quality wood furniture that was affordable & made in Canada. We spent years looking for "real" wood furniture, only to find the process frustrating and discouraging. It seemed what we loved, we couldn't afford and what we could afford was either imported, lacked character, or was made of MDF and veneer. Surely, there are other options out there!
After speaking with other families, the need was clear. Create a place that features local Canadian manufacturers who specialize in handmade, quality solid wood furniture that is affordable and stylish.
